Beginning Social Dance
Dances: Foxtrot, Swing, Rumba, the Waltz, Cha Cha and the Hustle
Mondays. Marion YMCA. 7:30-8:45PM
Come learn the basics of 5 popular social dance styles. Recognize these rhythms in a social dance environment. Understand the principles of leading and following with a dance partner. And most of all, have fun moving to music.
Doug and Jill Beardsley have been dancing together for over 40 years. They began their partnership at Brigham Young University as members of the elite BYU Ballroom touring formation team. They continued teaching and performing.
