Cycling Instructor

Job Description

The Cedar Rapids Metropolitan Area YMCA is currently looking for qualified individuals to fill the Cycling Instructor positions for the HGN, Marion and Stoney Point locations. This position is directly supervised by the Fitness Director, and will assist in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to: Teach Cycling classes. Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form. Enforce YMCA rules; be enthusiastic, and supportive of group participants. Execute risk management plan. Attend continuing education workshops offered by the fitness program.


Job Experience / Skills Desired

Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills required. All fitness program employees are required to be trained in CPR, First Aid, and AED. Please indicate your availability when submitting your application. 		  Posted on: 2010-07-22
